CONGRATULATIONS ON A GREAT SEASON OF FOOTBALL AT SOCCER5S. NOW ITS FINALS TIME…..
Your position in finals has decided on by your final position in the league. Finals begin next week, below is an outline of how the finals for your competition will work. Please note the finals may change if any teams are unable to attend - if you are unable to attend the finals please email us as dandenong@soccer5s.com so we can adjust the draw to allow finals to run smoothly in advance. We will notify you if there are any changes. Please make sure you check the link to the finals draw below to be sure of your final position (some leagues may have altered due to teams dropping out).
WEEK 1 - Wednesday 24th May
GOLD FINALS
7pm - Gold SF1 (40mins)- 1st v 4th > winner qualifies for Gold Final, losing team is eliminated
8.30pm - Game SF2 (40mins)- 2nd v 3rd > winner qualifies for Gold Final, losing team is eliminated
Silver FINALS
6.15pm - Silver SF1 (40mins)- 5th v 8th > winner qualifies for Silver Final, losing team is eliminated
7.45pm - Silver SF2 (40mins)- 6th v 7th > winner qualifies for Silver Final, losing team is eliminated
Bronze FINALS
9.15pm - Bronze SF1 (40mins)- 10th v 11th > winner qualifies for Bronze Final, losing team is eliminated
Bronze SF2 Fatal 3 - 3 teams play each other in a 3 Way playoff (points and goal difference league format)> winner qualifies for Bronze Final, losing 2 teams are eliminated
6.15pm - Bronze SF2 Fatal 3 Game 1 (20mins)- 9th v 13th
6.40pm - Bronze SF2 Fatal 3 Game 1 (20mins)- 12th v 13th
7.10pm - Bronze SF2 Fatal 3 Game 1 (20mins)- 9th v 12th
WEEK 2 - Wednesday 31st May
GOLD FINAL
7.45pm (40mins)- Winner Gold SF1 v Winner Gold SF2
SILVER FINAL
7pm (40mins)- Winner Gold SF1 v Winner Gold SF2
BRONZE FINAL
8.30pm (40mins)- Winner Gold SF1 v Winner Gold SF2
GUEST PASS PLAYERS
We understand at times teams need to bring extra players. Guest pass players are one off players who join your team on an occasion when you are short. WITH FINALS ONLY GUEST PASS PLAYERS WHO HAVE PLAYED 3 TIMES WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY. If you are bringing a guest pass players please notify us by email on dandenong@soccer5s.com to ensure they qualify for your team. Guest Pass players are charged at $17.50 per match. Spectators Passes will be available at the player check in desk at the entry to the players walk way, each Guest player will be given a wristband with the team name that they are playing for. The referee will check all players before the match starts.
Guest players appearances are recorded and will determine eligibility for Finals.

PLAYER CONDUCT
All registered players have accepted the terms and conditions for play at Soccer5s. Misconduct by players will result in disciplinary actions. Respect for the referee should be shown at all times. Referees are required to make quick decisions based on their judgement and abuse will not be tolerated. NO REFEREES MEANS NO GAMES!
Please respect the rules of the competition. Slide tackles and barging into the fences are completely unacceptable.
When play goes into the corner, all players are expected to let the player leading into the corner turn and play the ball out. The referee will call “2 metres”, this is from the ball not the corner. A player must be able to turn, face the play and make a pass. The player not in control of the ball is expected to allow them to play out.
