2026 Academy Coaching Programs

MINROOS ACADEMY U9 - U12

For 2026 we will be running our Soccer5s Academy with Hugo Reyes as the technical director and head coach. Enter any of our programs and you will be automatically eligible for selection for our teams when the Academy enters tournaments or plays matches against local teams. Please note games/tournaments will be entered for age appropriate groups of players.

Why join the Academy? Learn under one of melbourne most prolific youth coaches. Opt in and out as timings suit you and your club schedule. Players are encourage to participate in a minimum of 1 academy session a week alongside their club football.

What club should I join? Players are free to join any club that suits their needs. We believe it is important that the environment is somewhere you feel comfortable and therefore do not believe we should encourage players to play at any specific club but rather the club that suits them.

What are my training options? Academy players can train with Hugo and his team on a Monday and/or Wednesday evening at 5pm - 6.15pm. Just select your preferred option on the registration page

How will tournaments and matches work? Each time there is a tournament or match that we enter we will contact you to confirm a place in the team and an individual cost per tournament or match to participate. The costs per tournament or match allows parents flexibility in what they want to commit to and when they want to commit. The costs will vary as per the costs involved in representing the academy vary in each tournament and match.
