monday 5-a-side Finals
After a great WINTER Season…..ITS FINALS TIME…..
Your position in finals has decided on by your final position in the league. Finals are on Monday night (Mon 16th Sept) and Grand Finals are the following Monday (Mon 30th Sept), below is an outline of how the finals for your competition will work. Please note the finals may change if any teams are unable to attend - if you are unable to attend the finals please email us as dandenong@soccer5s.com so we can adjust the draw to allow finals to run smoothly in advance. We will notify you if there are any changes. Please make sure you check the link to the finals draw below to be sure of your final position (some leagues may have altered due to teams dropping out). Unfortunately we cannot change kick off times for finals or guarantee time slots (we need to schedule around available referees, pitch availability, different levels of matches and times). If you cannot make your final then the opposition team will progress to the Grand Final.
WEEK 1 - MONday 16th SEPT
GOLD FINALS
8.30pm - Gold SF1 (40mins)- Rajika 13 v 7 Kadu FC > winner qualifies for Gold Final, losing team is eliminated
Silver FINALS
6.15pm - Silver SF1 (40mins)- Hybrid Nations 7 v 8 Manchesthair United > winner qualifies for Silver Final, losing team is eliminated
7pm - Silver SF2 (40mins)- Corner FC 4 v 3 Docking FC > winner qualifies for Silver Final, losing team is eliminated
Bronze FINALS
8.30pm - Bronze SF1 (40mins)- Game of Throw Ins 3 v 2 5 Season’s Orlando > winner qualifies for Bronze Final, losing team is eliminated
7.45pm - Bronze SF2 (40mins)- Pique Blinders 10 v 0 Bouba United > winner qualifies for Bronze Final, losing team is eliminated
Platinum FINALS
6.15pm - Platinum SF1 (40mins)- Ethiad 10 v 0 Jafflers FC > winner qualifies for Platinum Final, losing team is eliminated
7.45pm - Platinum SF2 (40mins)- Neymar FC 3 v 7 Borussia Teeth > winner qualifies for Platinum Final, losing team is eliminated
WEEK 2 - MONday 23rd september
GOLD FINALS
7pm - Gold SF2 (40mins)- Eriboyz FC v Pascal 4.0 > winner qualifies for Gold Final, losing team is eliminated
SILVER FINAL
7.45pm (40mins)- Manchesthair United v Corner FC
BRONZE FINAL
7.45pm (40mins)- Game of Throw ins v Pique Blinders
PLATINUM FINAL
7pm (40mins)- Ethiad v Borussia Teeth
WEEK 3 - MONday 30th september
GOLD FINAL
7pm (40mins)- Rajika FC v Winner of Gold SF2
GUEST PASS PLAYERS
WITH FINALS ONLY GUEST PASS PLAYERS WHO HAVE PLAYED 3 TIMES WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY
If there any issues around a players eligibility for finals the opposing team must challenge it immediately, so management can double check. If a team challenges after the match has concluded then the result will stand.
Guest Pass players are charged at $20 per match. Spectators Passes will be available at the player check in desk at the entry to the players walk way, each Guest player will be given a wristband with the team name that they are playing for. The referee will check all players before the match starts.
Guest players appearances are recorded and will determine eligibility for Finals.
GUEST PASS - $20 PER PLAYER PER MATCH
PLAYER CONDUCT
All registered players have accepted the terms and conditions for play at Soccer5s. Misconduct by players will result in disciplinary actions. Respect for the referee should be shown at all times. Referees are required to make quick decisions based on their judgement and abuse will not be tolerated. NO REFEREES MEANS NO GAMES!
Please respect the rules of the competition. Slide tackles and barging into the fences are completely unacceptable.
MATCH DECIDERS
Any games that result in a draw, will be decided by a penalty shoot out at full time. The penalty shootout is best of 3 penalties to each team and then sudden death.
